I don't know much of anything about tugboats but I love watching them in action, they are so powerful! Each one looks similar and they do the same job but each of these photos depict a tugboat in a different port.
I like to watch then work too. There is a yacht club we go to each year that is near Stockton, CA. It is a spot where the tug boats come out to meet and escort the tankers into the Port of Stockton. They are indeed work horses.
I love your photographic eye! The tugs look powerful as they go about their jobs, the windows each tell a story, the rooftops mesmerize. . .love 'em all!
My name is Debra, Debbie, Deb. I'm the oldest of 7 children, born and raised in the mid-west. Was in the Army when we were still WACs. Married to the same man for more than 30 years, and Retired (both of us). Have strong opinions that I love voicing but others hate hearing. I quit smoking in Sept 2007 after 36 years of living with a cigarette in my mouth, and became a new grandma in March 2008. Life just keeps getting sweeter!!
P/S The FLO in MamaFLO comes from the beginning of my last name.

Have a terrific day. :)
Truely excellent captures here. The photographs do tell a story and you have documented the real life scenery
it's amazing to watch them!
I really like the one in the third photograph. Hats off to the Captains of those tugboats.

Great shots. They are so colorful.
Hello...I agree...they are very interesting boats. I live on the river which allows me to enjoy all sorts of tugs.
Nice to know I am not alone:)
Have a very nice day!
